FC Barcelona will use one special and commemorative t-shirt in the next Classic against Real Madrid, in April and in white, inspired by the former captain Carles Puyol and which combines the Barça colors of the club and those of the ‘flag’ of Catalonia.
According to the club, this is a special edition to play this unique match and in which, for the first time, these colors are combined to highlight the “Catalan character” and the “pride” of being Barça, together with the club’s roots and its identity linked to Catalonia.
For his release, the former player and captain Carles Puyol acts as a model and stars in the campaign, an audiovisual piece in which the values of the club are remembered and Puyol encourages the fans in the face of this Classic.
“If you need reasons to give it your all in times as hard as this, don’t look for them outside. They’re inside each of us,” reads the former captain in the ad.

The shirt has the traditional vertical stripes, but in the front bands of maroon it incorporates the ‘flag’ and its four bars, which start from the bottom and gradually fade in the chest area.
In the central blue stripe, the silhouette of the Catalan flag can be seen thanks to the use of different shades of blue, which in this case do reach the neck and which in this design is framed by a yellow border.
The equipment is completed by the pants in blue, following the same shade used on the shirt, and socks also in blue, which they incorporate the flag at the top and that gives the complete turn.
