All-fighters: “All-fighters never give up!”

Fritz Kinzel was able to celebrate several anniversaries in 2020 despite Corona. Since 1995 he has been running the oldest all-combat school in Europe

2020 was a more than special year for the 52-year-old Fritz Kinzel. Not only because
Corona
. He has been practicing martial arts for 35 years and it has developed into much more than just a hobby. In 1985, the then 17-year-old began his all-combat career at the Allkampf-Center
Zusmarshausen
. In addition, he also trained Taekwondo under today’s grandmaster and founder of the Allkampf-Jitsu-System Jakob Beck (10th Dan).

In 1989 Kinzel then went to
police
. The sports of judo, ju-jutsu and aikido were added here. On the one hand, the trainers Josef Art, Peter Weidinger and Johannes Daxbacher taught him some technical knowledge there, and on the other hand, he gained a lot of personal experience in the police service. For more than 25 years now, Kinzel has been bringing this knowledge to his students in his own martial arts schools
Dinkelscherben
, Agawang and Rettenbach. As an authority trainer and police instructor for self-defense, shooting and police deployment training, he trained generations of young police officers in the riot police
Königsbrunn
out.

Kinzel also began taking part in competitions and championships in Ju-Jutsu and Taekwondo, later also in all-combat jitsu and kickboxing. In 1991 he founded the Allkampfschule in Horgau with fellow athletes and expanded his repertoire to include Bo-Jitsu and Jiu-Jitsu

In March 1995 he finally took over the first all-combat school in Germany. Located in the small village of Steinekirch, a district of Zusmarshausen. This was founded in 1974 by Jakob Beck personally and is therefore the oldest all-combat school in Europe.

In 1996 Kinzel acquired his referee license from the Deutsche Allkampf Union (DAU), whose office he has held as the second board member since 2003. From 2000 he developed a new discipline in all-combat jitsu. In 2004 the training center in Agawang, which still exists today, was opened. For some time from 2006 onwards, the athletes also trained in Zusmarshausen. In 2008, the Agawang Sports and Self-Defense Association was founded. Fritz Kinzel has represented the association as the first chairman from the start. In 2009 a department for all-combat jitsu and aerokick karate was founded in Rettenbach (district of Günzburg).

In 2014, the club had to leave the original sports facility in Steinekirch and took the opportunity to move its premises to a new dojo in Dinkelscherben. With the 40th anniversary and at the same time the end of the Dojo Steinekirch (1974-2014), a new era began.

Ten years ago, Kinzel passed the last practically achievable exam for the 6th Dan and thus the Grandmaster in Allkampf-Jitsu and five years later he was awarded the 7th Dan by Jakob Beck and the Budo Center Europe – also because of special merits for the Sports. In 2016, Kinzel wanted to prove himself again and also passed the 6th Dan in Jiu-Jitsu.

The next anniversaries for the martial arts club followed in 2019: They celebrated the 45th anniversary of the school and the tenth anniversary of the department in Rettenbach.

“I hope I can continue to play this great sport for many years to come,” says Fritz Kinzel. He would like to pass on his knowledge to many students and cultivate the friendships he has gained through sport. Even in this difficult year 2020 for amateur sport, the school principal could count on his trainers and members. With online and outdoor training, they came up with something how everyone can stay fit. Now he hopes “that everyone stays healthy and that we can train together again soon and that we don’t lose the fun and joy.” He gives his protégés one thing on the way: “An all-rounder never gives up!”
