London

Mikel Arteta is not safe in the Arsenal managerial seat. Rumors have it that the club wants to replace him with Rafael Benitez.

So far Arsenal have stumbled on Premier League. The Gunners until week 15 are temporarily ranked 15th Premier League Standings with a collection of 17 points.

In fact, Arsenal are the favorites to win. No doubt, last season under the command of Mikel Arteta, Arsenal were able to win the FA Cup and Community Shield titles.

Manager Mikel Arteta, of course, is in an unsafe situation. Even though in his last match he was able to bring his team to a 3-1 win over Chelsea in the London Derby, Arsenal still haven’t moved from the bottom table.

Mikel Arteta himself has served as Arsenal manager since December 22, 2019 yesterday (contracted until June 30, 2023). His experience of three years as assistant manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, is considered qualified in his knowledge.

Arteta has played 53 matches with Arsenal. The details are 30 wins, eight draws and 15 defeats.

Rafael Benitez has served as manager of Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle. Benitez has presented the FA Cup, Community Shield, Champions League and European Super Cup titles for Liverpool.

At Chelsea, Benitez was able to win the Europa League. Apart from that outside England, Benitez has also coached Valencia, Inter Milan, Napoli and Real Madrid.

Since 2019, Rafael Benitez has been training a team in China, namely Dalian Professional. The contract will expire on December 30, 2021.
