The Alpha Circus circus show impressed the youngest with a wide variety of numbers, including clowns, jugglers, magicians and snakes. The two sessions brought together a good number of families who enjoyed the magic of the circus with all the security measures against Covid-19.

On the other hand, the comedians of the Dicomic Duo offered a show lasting more than an hour, starting the laughter of the attending public and interacting with them. Covid-19, air travel or visits to hospitals in times of pandemic, were some of the topics addressed by these two comedians.

The cultural programming continues on Saturday, January 2, with the children’s play ‘Christmas Story’ which is in charge of the company Arte Fusión Títeres. It will be at 18:00 at the House of Culture and the price of tickets is 3 euros.

On Sunday, January 3, the concert of popular Christmas carols will take place by the Santísima Trinidad Polyphonic Choir. The concert will begin at around 1:00 pm in the Parish of the Holy Trinity, just after the Eucharist.

Sport is also the protagonist these days in Torralba de Calatrava. More than twenty boys and girls participate in different sports activities proposed by the City Council and which take place every morning until next January 4 “so that children can enjoy their leisure time during these holidays practicing sports and fleeing sedentarism ”, as indicated by the Councilor for Sports, Luis Blanco.

The kids participated in a ball skill contest, both futsal and basketball, and other ping pong and badminton matches. Also, a bike skill contest.
