Zonkeys continues to motivate young Academy prospects.
TIJUANA- The holiday season is characterized by posadas and piñatas, to mention some aspects, however, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these dates cannot be celebrated as other years, so the Tijuana Zonkeys reinvented itself to continue motivating the Zonkeys Academy students.
On that occasion, the board decided that each category would have an inn, but in a virtual way, so that children and young people could live together, despite the distance, in addition to not losing the tradition of this annual celebration.
For the students of the Zonkeys Academy one of their main companions during these months has been the basketball, taking into account that the classes were mainly virtual, but that it has allowed them to improve their individual skills and most importantly, taking into account real game situations, that the teachers taught it so that the return to the courts would be easier.
For this reason, Tijuana Zonkeys invited the students to a “Christmas Dynamics”, which consisted of decorating their basketball with a theme of the time, which they published on the official Facebook account of the professional franchise that participates in Cibacopa México. The winners of this dynamic are the three with the most reactions in their photo, these being: Santiago, Daniela and Regina.
Regarding the students of the youth category and taking advantage of the trend that is the social network Tik Tok, they had to make a basketball-themed tiktok, which was uploaded to the official Zonkeys account, where the one who had it also won I like it more, the winner being the young Alex García.
The winners were announced this Monday, December 21, within the framework of the last class of the 2020 calendar and the prizes were awarded this Tuesday, December 22 of the current month.
This is one of the ways that Tijuana Zonkeys has sought to motivate children and young people to continue practicing the sport they love so much. (AMS)
