The best golfers have been in the Emirates since Thursday for the European final of the “Race to Dubai”. Including, of course, the Tarbais number 1 tricolor, Victor Perez, who pointed, before this final, in 6th place in Europe.
Propelled from the start of the Race alone in the lead, one step ahead of a formidable trio, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Erick Van Rooyen and Robert McIntyre, Victor Perez was getting off to a good start. But, unable to repeat the performance on the second day, he dropped to 14th place, with a total score of – 3. The Tarbais recovered the next day with – 3 day for one – 6 total and climbed up the standings, 12th at 5 shots of the head. Thanks to a nice card of 68 returned yesterday, Victor Perez finished 7th in the final of the DP World Tour to keep his 6th place in Europe, leaving the crown to the Englishman Lee Westwood, second in Dubai behind his compatriot Matthew Fitzpatrick.
