The laboratory misjudged the tests of Slavia’s footballers, and their hygiene abolished their quarantine

The team had a high number of positives after the tests on Monday. He therefore underwent repeated tests, the results of which confirmed the infection. Team hygienists ordered quarantine. None of the infected had any symptoms of the disease at all.

Some positive testers agreed to test the families and themselves, and their results at various laboratories were negative.

Hygiene then arranged for testing in other laboratories, the results were negative. Subsequently, she had a blood test done, which was also negative. The chairman of the board of directors of the club Jaroslav Tvrdík said on Twitter on Friday that PCR tests at the UEFA laboratory and blood tests at the National Reference Laboratory showed that the Slavia A-team is OK.

The hygienists said the same. “While the original conclusion of the laboratory confirmed the positivity of the samples, the corrected evaluation, on the other hand, was negative for all samples,” said hygiene in the report.

“The circumstances and reasons for the original evaluation of the private laboratory are not known at the time,” said Zdeněk Boublík, a spokesman for Prague’s hygiene.

Due to the quarantine, the footballers could not play a league match with Zlín, nor could they train.
