Clarisse Agbegnenou became in Prague on November 20 European judo champion in the category of – 63 kilos for the fifth time in her career. The 28-year-old Frenchwoman beat Austrian Magdalena Krssakova in the final leaving her no chance after an ippon after only 23 seconds of fighting. She came to win her third consecutive European champion title, on top of those obtained in 2014 and 2017 as well as her silver medal at the 2016 Olympics.
