Saints: Alvin Kamara celebrates Christmas with six touchdowns against Vikings

Saints running back Alvin Kamara had six touchdowns on Friday in a New Orleans side’s 52-33 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day. This is an NFL record matched.

Only one other player has had six rushing touchdowns in NFL history: Ernie Nevers of the Chicago Cardinals in 1929.

Kamara also totaled 155 yards on the ground, to the delight of many poolers.

With this victory, the Saints (11-4) confirmed their first position in the classification of the Southern section of the National Association for a fourth year in a row.

For their part, the Vikings (6-9) can no longer participate in the NFL playoffs.

Despite the convincing Saints’ win, quarterback Drew Brees did not have his best game, suffering two interceptions and not throwing a pass for the middle finger. He nevertheless had 311 yards of gains by the air.
