Russell Westbrook with a triple-double in his debut with the Wizards

The second day of NBA action was marked by controversy around the game between Rockets and Thunder, which was postponed, but also left us with great moments. One of them was the Wizards vs. 76ers, Russell Westbrook’s first regular-season game in the Washington jersey. Unfortunately for him, Joel Embiid and company took it upon themselves to ruin their special night by defeating the Wizards by marker 113 to 107 with 29 units for the Cameroonian player.

Despite the defeat, Russell Westbrook finished with a triple-double in his debut for the Washington Wizards.: 21 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists. With these numbers, Russ becomes the sixth player in NBA history to score a triple ten in his debut with his new team. Bradley Beal was the leading scorer for the Wizards with 31 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.
