The Toronto club have not posted such a record since 2005-06.

Curry had a three-point shot that put the Sixers in control, 96-91. Philadelphia then kept the pace.

The Raptors will try to earn a first win Thursday against the New York Knicks in Tampa.

“There’s a sense of urgency in the team,” said Kyle Lowry, who led the team with 24 points.

“There are new guys, new roles. We played better than against Spurs, but we are not yet on the same page. We are working to change that. ”

Toronto lost some momentum when a three-point shot from Aron Baynes, initially awarded, was called out as a review determined there was no time left to shoot.

The Raptors took a 90-87 lead with just under five minutes to go, before the referees corrected the decision.

Lowry was backed by 20 points each for Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby.

Fred VanVleet was limited to eight points; in continuous play, his yield was 3 in 12.

Anunoby got three of his five steals in a first half that ended in favor of the Raptors, 56-48.

After 36 minutes the score was 76-76. In the third quarter, the Raptors scored just three points after halfway through the period (a long-distance basket from Siakam).

In the last quarter, the score was 24-17 for the 76ers.

“It was sometimes a badly received pass, a finishing question or an off target pass,” said Raptors coach Nick Nurse of his squad’s lack of efficiency.

“We had a great time every night. But when there comes a point in the match where the shots don’t come in as much, it affects us a little too much. ”

Joel Embiid provided 29 points, including 14 free throws. He was given the green light to play at the end of the day, after missing the previous game with back pain.

Embiid caught 16 rebounds, who hadn’t played on Sunday, in Cleveland

Tobias Harris added 26 points, nine more than Curry.
