January 2021 will end an atypical year due to the health crisis caused by the new coronavirus in the world. Meanwhile, the vast majority of athletes and managers will resume individual or couples sports activities outdoors at the beginning of next year.

Such is the case of the Peru Cuba Deportes de Ayacucho academy, which is now ready to resume its activities, after an extensive period of sanitary isolation. A total of 10 disciplines offers the academy in the new cycle “Sports Summer 2021”.

Ricardo Gálvez García and Ronald Aguado Sauñe co-founders of the Cuba Deportes academy, For five years they have been working on this sports project that was born thanks to the link they have with sports, the academy started in 2015.

“Unfortunately we had a pandemic year, a year where stress for children, youth and adults has been affected. We observe in the streets people who have lost weight or gained weight due to the crisis that the country is experiencing in the world, ”said Gálvez.

However; He said that in Ayacucho it has been seen that the cases of Covid-19 have decreased due to the good diet maintained by the Ayacucho and compliance with biosecurity protocols.

Therefore, Gálvez invited the entire population to be part of the Cuba Sports family, where a total of 10 disciplines will be offered for the benefit of all Ayacucho athletes such as: Soccer, Chess, Swimming, Kabadi, Baseball, Judo, Volley, Jiu Jitsu, Karate and Basketball.

All disciplines will be in charge of qualified sports teachers, for this cycle, according to Gálvez, the novelty will be the newly integrated baseball discipline. In addition to that the classes will be offered throughout the year, unlike in previous years.

Each sport will have an exclusive space, according to Ronald Aguado, the pre-concentration field or venue will be in the Los Marianitos garden located on Jr. 9 de Diciembre in front of the nursing home, where the reopening of sports classes will also be held. .

Likewise, all students will be distributed to the training camps that will correspond to them. “In the case of the discipline of Soccer and Volleyball, the Mundialito will be held at the Synthetic Gras, in the case of martial arts such as: Judo, Kabadi, Jiu Jitsu and Karate, it will be held at Jr. Pichincha N ° 361 (second yields de Cuba Deportes) and swimming at the Country Club Peruano Alemán academy ”, Aguado explained.

The schedules will be divided into two shifts: Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the other on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, in order to fully comply with biosafety regulations.

Registration will be a payment of 250 soles for the teaching of the 10 disciplines during the months of January and February, there will be discounts depending on the situation of the athlete who wishes to be part of the academy.

“The challenge will be enormous, since the academy is private and we do not have subsidies from the state or another organization. Then you have to take into account that you must pay premises, payroll, among other things. However; we are ‘stretching the league’ so that the cost of registration is accessible to everyone, for example, if there are two brothers who wish to register, a certain amount will be deducted from them, “said Gálvez.

He stressed that the restart of activities will be in compliance with all biosecurity measures provided by the Ministry of Health. Each class environment will be with 50% of people, between 12 to 14 athletes.

The start of the activities will be this January 11, 2021, any information will reach Jr. Lima 145 or Jr. Assembly 280 (Polvos Azules). You can also call 938 563 590.

On the other hand, Gálvez called on the authorities to take greater importance on sport as part of an initiative at the regional level to prevent crime, alcoholism, and others.

“I ask the president of the IPD, Gilberto Ramos Peña, to open his spaces, taking into account the protocols, so that the population does sports and we are not seeing alcoholic people or taking drugs in the streets,” he concluded.
