Fabio Paratici could continue the tradition that in the past years has always been a winner at Juve, in view of the January transfer market

The January market is upon us and Juventus is still looking for a striker to complete the offensive department currently formed by Ronaldo, Morata e Dybala.

In the past years one winning strategy of Juve had been to go fishing on the market from the teams that had the better of the Bianconeri in Champions: from the reverse goal of Ronaldo at the Stadium, which earned him the passage of his Real Madrid, to Matthijs de Ligt’s header with his Ajax.

This time Paratici could bet instead on Memphis Depay, which in the last edition of the highest European competition, had allowed Lyon to go through with a penalty kick that he had shattered the dreams, at the time, of Sarri and his Juventus.

The Dutch striker already in the summer he had been compared to the bianconeri, but the agreement with the French company had not arrived e Depay he had stayed to play in Ligue One. In January, however, things changed and Paratici could try again to bring the Dutchman to wear the black and white striped shirt, confirming the winning tradition of the past market sessions.
