Nick Young flies to China due to lack of NBA offer

The whimsical Nick Young offers himself a new challenge. As reported by The Athletic, the former player of the Wizards, Clippers, Sixers, Lakers, Warriors and Nuggets has effectively decided to engage with the Zhejiang Lions, who play in the CBA, the Chinese championship.

There he will rub shoulders with Wilson Chandler and Miroslav Raduljica, also passed by the NBA in recent years.

This signing is in any case a half-surprise, as the 35-year-old rear has struggled to find a team since his short stint (four games) in Denver, in December 2018. The one nicknamed “Swaggy P” will therefore try to give meaning to his career in China, where he should have plenty of time to express his offensive talent (11.4 points on average, at 42% on shots and 38% at 3-points, in 720 NBA games).

Champion with Golden State in 2018, he will try especially to restore his image in order to, why not, attract the eye of a new NBA franchise for the next playoffs.
