Russell Wilson and the Seahawks took a wide lead and Seattle’s opportunistic defense held out to beat Washington 20-15 and secure a playoff spot.
Wilson threw for a touchdown, Carlos Hyde ran for 50 yards and a score and the Seahawks twice captured and intercepted the quarterback Dwayne Haskins, from Washington.
After Haskins-led comeback from a 20-3 deficit fell short, Washington saw the end of its four-game winning streak.
