Already deprived of their four best spaced wingers, in connection with protocols concerning the coronavirus, the Cleveland Browns will also have to manage without the blocker Jedrick Wills against the New York Jets on Sunday.

Wills was sidelined when his team arrived in New Jersey for the game at the Meadowlands.

Linebacker BJ Goodson was added to the COVID-19 list on Saturday and four wide receivers, including Jarvis Landry, were sidelined as close contacts.

Starting in the first 14 matches, Wills is considered unavailable because he is indisposed. Kendall Lamm will replace him.

The Browns (10-4) can advance to the playoffs for the first time since January 2003. They must win and hope for a setback or a draw from the Ravens or Colts.

Drafted 10th overall this year, Wills was first put on the COVID-19 related list on Thursday (he was a close contact with someone who tested positive).

He became an active player again on Saturday, before becoming ill. It is not yet known if it is the coronavirus.

The offensive line must also deal with the absence of guard Wyatt Teller, who will be replaced by Nick Harris.

The Browns will also be without wide ends Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge, as well as linebacker Jacob Phillips. All are on the list related to COVID-19.
