In a week of preparation for the Baltimore Ravens, the challenge promises to be daunting against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
The Baltimore roster did not train on Tuesday after receiving further positive COVID-19 results in the morning. The day before, running backs JK Dobbins and Mark Ingram had received the same diagnosis. All team activities are taking place virtually at the moment.
The Ravens have announced that they have put defensive tackle Brandon Williams’ name on the COVID-19 roster for coming into close contact with a team member who tested positive.
For now, Thursday’s game is still against the Steelers, but additional positive cases could force the NFL to move the game, according to a source Adam Schefter ofESPN. The Ravens are looking to turn things around after conceding three losses in their last four games in the traditional American Thanksgiving Thursday.
Ravens now have had five players and four staffers test positive for COVID this week, sources tell ESPN.
Thursday night’s game vs. the Steelers still is on, as scheduled, but one source warned that further positives could mean postponing it.
