New Year’s Eve in Berlin: Police speak of a quiet night – helicopter tracks down gatherings – Berlin

Police spokesman Thilo Cablitz describes New Year’s Eve as “very quiet”. At the moment everything is under control, he told the Tagesspiegel. There were isolated gatherings of groups of people at Hermannplatz, in Gleisdreieck Park, in the Märkisches Viertel and in Gropiusstadt. Fireworks were sometimes set off.
