Napoli has set its price for striker Arkadiusz Milik. The striker is expected to leave the club in January.
Sportsmail reported in September that Tottenham Hotspur was due to meet Milik’s agents and that the club was in talks of a £ 25m deal to sign Milik to replace Harry Kane.
Jose Mourinho’s side eventually signed Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica for a season but the Brazilian has yet to score in the Premier League, so Spurs can renew their interest in Milik.
Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik will leave the club, which has put a price of £ 13.5m on him
The 26-year-old scored the winning goal in the Italian cup final against Juventus in June
According to Goal, the current La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid and the Italian giant Juventus are interested but would have to pay £ 13.5m for Milik.
The 26-year-old’s contract in Naples expires at the end of the season, so clubs outside Italy can start contract negotiations for a free transfer from January.
Milik has scored 48 goals for Gennaro Gattuso’s side in 122 games but reportedly wants to leave.
In October he told SportoweFakty: “Napoli wanted to extend my contract for five years and gave me two options: sign or leave.
Milik has been excluded from the Serie A and Europa League squads by Gennaro Gattuso this season
“I’ve decided to try something different. This is the right time to try a new challenge.
“I have never been hostile to Napoli. I wanted to solve everything professionally. ‘
The 56-cap Poland international was also disappointed that he was banned from Napoli’s Serie A and Europa League squads through the press, not the coach.
The Parthenopei are willing to make slight compromises on the proposed £ 13.5m fee as they know foreign clubs could sign him at a free price by the end of the year.
