After testing positive for Covid-19 just before Christmas, the conditions of Fausto Gresini were more complicated than expected and, from December 27, he was hospitalized first in Imola and now in Bologna, in a specialized ward entirely dedicated to Coronavirus.

“Following the covid-19 positivity found shortly before the Christmas break, Fausto Gresini, after an initial period in isolation in his home, was hospitalized on 27 December at the Santa Maria della Scaletta hospital in Imola.
Today the Gresini Racing Team Principal was transported to the Maggiore Carlo Alberto Pizzardi hospital in Bologna, in a more equipped ward for Covid-19 care. At the moment, Fausto’s conditions are continuously monitored. Further updates will follow“.
