Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has sent shock waves at the club after refusing to rule out future moves to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
The 28-year-old Egyptian has become a star at Anfield under Jürgen Klopp since moving from Roma in 2017, scoring 108 goals in 172 games for the club en route to winning the Champions League and Premier League titles.
Because of these successes, he was connected to the Spanish giants, but was asked by the Spanish Outlet AS whether he would rule out a move to LaLiga in the future. However, the former Chelsea striker failed.

“I think Madrid and Barcelona are two top clubs,” he said.
“Who knows what will happen in the future, but now I am focused on winning the Premier League and Champions League again with Liverpool.”
When Salah continued to press for his future, he insisted that everything was in Liverpool’s hands, adding: “It’s a tough question but for now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club.

“Of course I want to break records here and I repeat all club records, but everything is in the hands of the club.”
The Egypt international also admitted that he was very disappointed that he hadn’t received the armband for the final Champions League group match against Midtjylland earlier this month.
Klopp showed a rather inexperienced team in the 1-1 draw in Denmark. The Reds had already qualified for the final 16 of the competition, but Salah was one of the few regulars to have been there from the start.
The Egyptian opened the gate in the first minute but did so in a team led by 22-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold. A decision Salah admitted was frustrating, but one he must now accept.

“I was hoping to be the captain, but it’s a coach’s decision. I accept.’
Salah has scored the highest 11 Premier League goals for the current top champions and 14 in all competitions in 2020-21.
These latest stats come after Salah, who signed an extended five-year extension with the Anfield squad in July 2018, finished fifth in Liverpool’s winning league campaign with 19 goals last season in Liverpool’s winning league campaign.
However, he won the award in 2017-18 after scoring top 32 goals and also shared the award with teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored all 22 goals the following season scored.
