BOLASPORT.COM – The world heavyweight boxing legend, Mike Tyson, surprisingly called Jose Ribalta in front of Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield as the only fighters who could take his immense power.

Mike Tyson is widely respected for his fierce skills in the ring and the power of his hitting during his career.

Mike Tyson faced a tough test when he faced Ribalta in 1986 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Tyson, who at that time held the win-lose record, 26-0, finally managed to secure a TKO (Technical Knockout) victory in the 10th round in his fight with Ribalta.

The 54-year-old has clashed with great fighters like Lewis, Holyfield and Frank Bruno in his fighting career.

However, the former undisputed champion argues that Ribalta takes everything and keeps coming back for more.

“I hit Jose Ribalta with everything and he took everything and kept coming back,” said Tyson told BolaSport.com from Sportbible.

“Jose Ribalta stood opposite me. He was very strong in taking positions.”

Just three months after the fight with Ribalta, Tyson will crush Trevor Berbick in a TKO second round win to become the youngest heavyweight champion in history.
