BOLASPORT.COM – Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton believes the accident that happened to Romain Grosjean (Haas) proves that Formula 1 is still a dangerous sport.

Accidents colored the F1 Bahrain GP race at the Bahrain International Circuit, Sunday (29/11/2020).

The incident occurred when the race had just entered the first lap.

Starting the 57-lap race from 19th, the French-flagged racer lost control of the VF-20.

Before hitting the wall at turn 3, Romain Grosjean also had a chance to bump into Daniil Kyvat from the Alpha Tauri team.

Because it hit the parapet hard, Romain Grosjean’s car immediately caught fire before finally splitting into two parts.

Reported by BolaSport.com from Haas’s official Twitter account, Romain Grosjean suffered minor burns to his hands and ankles.

Race must also be suspended for 45 minutes.
