Hockey player Apple has another goal in the Swedish championship – Hockey – Apollo.lv – Sports

“Orebro” guests conceded to “Skelleftea” with 1: 4 (1: 2, 0: 1, 0: 1).

Ābols scored in the ninth minute, revealing the result, but later the puck makes its way into the visitors’ goal.

The striker threw the goal four times in 18 minutes and 54 seconds, once used force, won 40% of the throw and finished the match with a positive efficiency of +1.

The Latvian striker has scored eight goals in 20 Swedish Premier League (SHL) games this season and has scored seven times. With 15 points, he is the fifth most productive in the team, but due to disqualification he has played fewer games than his teammates.

Orebro ranks fifth among 14 clubs in the Swedish championship with 45 points in 25 games.

As the NHL season was long overdue, the Orebro Hockey Team agreed with the Florida Panthers to rent a 24-year-old Apple.

As the “Panthers” did not invite the Latvian to the training camp, he will stay in “Orebro” until the end of the season.

The hockey player spent the previous season in North America, mostly playing in the American Hockey League (AHL) club Springbirds’ Thunderbirds, but in some games he also represented the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) unit Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

In May last year, Ābols signed a two-year debtor agreement with the Panthers.

In the summer of 2016, the Vancouver Canucks were selected in the seventh round of the Apple NHL New Player Draft with a total of 184. Apple has not yet debuted in the NHL.
