Decidedly, 2020 will be a definitely black year.
It is with great sadness that we have just learned of the disappearance of Gilbert Giroud.
He had been the club’s press correspondent for more than 20 years and had assured us of beautiful articles in our local daily, knowing how to highlight through text and image the life of the club and the exploits of our young people. He had retired 3 years ago, at over 80 years old, and we thanked him warmly when he came to attend the inauguration of our new tatami in 2017. He left this fall, discreetly, like it had always been and we only learn it today. We are losing a great friend.

Thank you Gilbert for all these years spent serving the club and judo with such kindness and benevolence. We will not forget you.
