Getting ready! MU and Man City Scramble Erling Haaland

Manchester

Two giant English clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City are getting ready to fight over Erling Haaland. Both need a killer striker!

Erling Haaland is touted as the best young striker today. The player from Norway is still 20 years old and so dangerous in the opponent’s penalty box.

The proof is that from eight matches in the German League with Borussia Dortmund, Haaland has scored 10 goals. From the middle of last season when Dortmund brought in from RB Salzburg, Haaland was able to score 13 goals in 15 matches.

Reporting from British media, Mirror, Erling Haaland has become the target of top European clubs. Next year’s summer transfer market in July, Haaland looks like he will move to look for a new challenge.

Two clubs from the City of Manchester, namely Manchester United and Manchester City are also ready to fight over Haaland!

Manchester United don’t have many options at the center attacking post. Anthony Martial has not scored a goal since being placed in that position this season.

There is Edinson Cavani, but he is already 33 years old. Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood are also more suitable to be placed in the attacking sector.

The same thing happened to Manchester City. The Citizens only have two center-attackers, namely Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.

Aguero is quite old, already 32 years old. Gabriel Jesus is still young and quite good, but he gets hit by injuries a lot.

The two Manchester teams have also had a hard time breaking into the opponent’s goal this season. Manchester City have only scored 17 goals in 11 matches, the smallest number in the top 10 of the Premier League standings. Manchester United are in second place with 19 goals.

Erling Haaland is still under contract until 2024 with Borussia Dortmund. Of course, Dortmund don’t want to let it go at a cheap price.
