Game developer announces plan to launch College Football game

Regarding the game developer, iMackulate Vision Gaming, College Football fans will once again be able to experience the emotions of college football in the virtual world. EA Sports, owner of the acclaimed Madden franchise, stopped producing the game for the NCAA in 2010, and ten years later college players should return to the oval ball lovers’ screens.

IMV announced, on Monday (23), the plan to launch in 2020 the game that will bear the name of Gridiron Champions. The idea is to make the product available on Xbox, Playstation and PC platforms at a suggested price of US $ 59.99 in the American market.

Gridiron Champions, a game not licensed by the NCAA, seeks to offer a unique experience by allowing the customization of uniforms, stadiums, crowd atmosphere and recreating the spirit of College Football. The official game, at the time, was discontinued because it was considered a commercial item that violated the rules regarding the use of image of teams and players on the stock exchange.

Alex Lewis, IMV’s CEO, stressed the importance of the game in filling a gap in the current market:

“There is no game related to college football today. We are excited about the possibility of rescuing something so important to American sports culture and we feel privileged to be the first to meet this demand ”.

IMV declared in an official note that, to date, 1,300 units have been sold in pre-sales.
