WEST HAM UNITED 1-3 MANCHESTER UNITED
Manchester United took another setback in the second half to beat West Ham 3-1 on Saturday in their first Premier League game with fans at the stadium since March.
2,000 Hammers fans watched their side take the well-deserved lead in the first half at the London Stadium through Tomas Soucek.
But United started a big week with a much-needed win as three goals in 13 minutes from Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in fourth place and within two points of the Premier League leaders.
West Ham didn’t have to take advantage of any major chances in the first half on the rue before Solskjaer turned to his bank to dig United out of a hole.

The Red Devils need a point when they travel to RB Leipzig on Tuesday to secure a spot in the Champions League of the last 16 before hosting Manchester City next weekend.
MANCHESTER CITY 2-0 FULHAM
Manchester City closed on three points from the top of the Premier League when Raheem Sterling found his form in a routine 2-0 win over Fulham.
Kevin De Bruyne was also on target from the penalty spot when City took league wins for the first time this season to get into the top four.
Sterling hadn’t scored a goal in the league in almost two months and has been left out by Guardiola in the past few weeks.
But the England international looked more like the old self, giving the much-needed penetration to a city side that had struggled to score goals this season.
Sterling should have opened the standings within three minutes when he shot too close to Alphonse Areola after Riyad Mahrez’s pass opened the Fulham defense.
Less than two minutes later, Sterling got a second chance from another luscious De Bruyne assistant and this time made no mistake on his favorite right foot for a first goal in seven games.
Sterling then helped create the second when he turned Joachim Andersen into the box and went down for a penalty under the Danish defender’s weakest contact.
De Bruyne had missed his final free kick against Liverpool but moved confidently to send Areola in the wrong direction and end the game as a competition in just 26 minutes.
BURNLEY 1-1 EVERTON
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored his 11th goal of the season in the Premier League on Saturday to secure a point for Everton in a 1-1 draw with Burnley.
Everton was the surprising early-season pacemaker in the top English league, but has got lost in the past few weeks, defeating in four of the last five league games.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team found themselves on the turf early after a nice goal from midfielder Robbie Brady before English striker Calvert-Lewin equalized at halftime.
But no team could find a winner in a game in which goalkeepers Jordan Pickford and Nick Pope – rivals of the England number one jersey – stood out.
One point apiece meant Everton moved up to seventh place in the table while Burnley stayed in second from the bottom.
CHELSEA 3-1 LEEDS UNITED
Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League in the Premier League after beating Leeds 3-1 on the night that 2,000 fans returned to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues had to jump back against his former club after Patrick Bamford’s early start.
But the home fans who were present after the absence of the coronavirus got a glimpse of why Frank Lampard’s rebuilt team are now title contenders, as goals from Olivier Giroud, Kurt Zouma and Christian Pulisic extended Chelsea’s undefeated run to 16 games.
The win puts Lampard’s men – compounded by a £ 220m ($ 296m) spending spree on the transfer market – one point ahead of Tottenham and Liverpool, who face Arsenal and Wolves at home on Sunday.
