curfew schedules in medellin antioquia for December | Outside of Soccer

After meeting with the different mayors of the department, the Governor of Antioquia decreed a curfew to combat the large number of covid-19 infections that have occurred in recent weeks.

The restrictive measures, which were proposed from midnight this Friday, December 11 (that is, at zero hours on Saturday 12) until January 3, 2021, were finally decreed from December 13 to 20.

“The measure then begins this Sunday at zero hours and goes until six in the morning of the same Sunday, and so on for a week until Sunday, December 20. That same Sunday or earlier, we will evaluate the need, the relevance, the convenience of extending or extending these measures beyond December 20, ”explained Gaviria.

The departmental president clarified that the modification of the initial restriction occurred after exposing and analyzing the measure with the National Government.

He also indicated that there will be limitation in mobility in the municipalities of these seven subregions: East, Southwest, West, North, Northeast, Bajo Cauca and Magdalena Medio.

The measure does not apply to Urabá or to the 10 municipalities of the Aburrá Valley: Medellín, Envigado, Itagüí, Sabaneta, Bello, Copacabana, Girardota, La Estrella, Caldas and Barbosa.

However, in two of these municipalities, each president has taken restrictive actions on his own.

Sabaneta decreed a curfew for minors, starting at 11 at night, a measure that will extend throughout the month of December and until January 11, 2021. La Estrella also decreed that minors may not be on the street, but it will be between 12 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Tuesday, December 15 until January 11.
