Charlotte surprises Dallas – The Team

The Dallas Mavericks’ home season premiere went badly on Wednesday. The Texans have indeed been strolled by the Charlotte Hornets (118-99). The rookie, third pick in the draft, LaMelo Ball delivered a big game (22 points to 7 of 10 on shots, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) coming off the bench and in support of Miles Bridges (20 points, 16 rebounds) also coming from the bench and Terry Rozier (18 points) for a second success in a row for the Hornets who already led to the break (68-57).

Still deprived of Kristaps Porzingis, convalescent, Dallas could not count on its Slovenian leader Luka Doncic author of a small game (12 points with a 0 of 5 at long distance) and who did not play in the fourth quarter – time as Charlotte’s victory was no longer in doubt.

Boston, for its part, was able to count on a Jaylen Brown record (42 points, 15 of 21 on shots, 7 of 10 on three points) to dominate Memphis (126-107), deprived for three to five weeks of its leader of game star Ja Morant, injured an ankle earlier this week. The Grizzlies also lost back Grayson Allen to an ankle on Wednesday.
