On January 24, the federated regional competition for children, cadets and juniors will begin.

Good news!. On January 24, the autonomous federated children’s, cadet and junior competition will begin, divided into Special Group and Preferred Group.

The competition system will consist of:

1ST PHASE (REGULAR LEAGUE): all against all in a double round. The first two in each group qualify for the SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP PHASE.

2nd PHASE PREVIOUS PHASE (CLASSIFICATION No. SPAIN): Qualifying rounds that will be played by teams classified 3rd in GROUPS A, B and C of Special with the teams classified in 1st place of GROUPS A, B and C of Preferred (except affiliates).

SPAIN CHAMPIONSHIP PHASE: The 2-3 first classified from GROUPS A, B and C (see each category) and the winning teams of the PREVIOUS PHASE – CLASSIFICATION No. SPAIN (9 teams) will qualify. Three groups 1, 2 and 3 will be formed, in which all against all will be played in a double round.

FINAL PHASE: The first classified team of GROUPS 1, 2 and 3 plus the best 2nd go on to play a FINAL FOUR. The Champion of Castilla y León and the teams that will compete in the Spanish Championship in each category will emerge from this phase.

CYL CUP: will be disputed by the best classified from GROUPS A, B and C without counting the team that disputes the qualifying phase and the losing teams of the PREVIOUS PHASE – SPAIN Cº PHASE CLASSIFICATION (depending on each category).

PHASE BY CLASSIFICATION: the teams of the Special and Preferred groups that do not qualify for the phase for the title, or for the Cup, will play a 3rd phase for the classification.

Let’s hope that the evolution of the pandemic and the regulations will allow us that soon the rest of the categories (school games, minibasket and provincial comp) can return to the slopes.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL
