Canadian, US and Russian hockey players wreak havoc in junior world championship match

The Canadians beat their peers from Switzerland in a group A match with 10: 0 (1: 0, 4: 0, 5: 0).

In the Russian national team, two goals and a pass to Vasily Podkolzin, but goalkeeper Artur Ahtyamov blocked 17 shots.

The Russians will face the test of a strong Sweden on Thursday.

Subgroup B has six points for Sweden, which has played two matches, as well as Russia and the USA, which have played three games. The Czech Republic is followed by three points in three games, but Austria is still empty.

The World Junior Junior Championship at Rogers Place, where the home games are played by the NHL team “Editors” Oilers, will run until January 5.

In the championship, ten teams, divided into two groups of five each, will play a one-round tournament, with the top four entering the quarter-finals, but the fifth-place championship will be over, as none of the teams will leave the elite division this year.
