Nauris Miezis has been recognized as the most valuable player of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3×3 World Tour 2020 season, the organizers of the tournament report. 29-year-old Miezis won the jury vote, which was attended by 108 basketball players who played in the 2020 World Tour.

This year, Miezis together with the “Riga” team won three of the five competitions, including in the final stage in December. In the last two stages of the season, he was recognized as the most valuable player.

He was the only one to win three Tissot awards this season for his winning throws, one of which brought victory in the final. He was also the most productive player of the season, episodes with Barley’s participation were most often included in the selection of the best moments and he was also the best player.

Miezis took second place in the list of most productive players. As the FIBA ​​3×3 rating is frozen until April 1, Miezi does not have a chance to rise to the rank, where he is second only to Dushan Buluta. It is expected that when the rank becomes active, he will return to the first position.

Miezis received 37% points in the vote, Kārlis Lasmanis took the second place with 22%, Serbs Stefans Kojičs and Stefans Stojačičs representing the “Liman” team took the third place with 15%, and Igns Vaitkus from Lithuania took the fifth place with 11%. .
