The Portuguese national team superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, opened fire in the League A Group 3 UEFA Nations League match against the French national team at Estadio da Luz, Saturday (11/14/2020).

Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the Portuguese national team squad to the city of Split to challenge the host Croatia, Tuesday (17/11/2020).

Speaking of record meetings, Croatia is an opponent that Ronaldo rarely meets.

Since his debut with Portugal’s senior national team in 2003, CR7 has met Croatia only three times.

Ronaldo’s ‘rare’ goal came during a test match at the Stade de Geneva on 10 June 2013.

Ronaldo listed his name on the scoreboard when the game entered the 36th minute.

From inside the penalty box, he fired a left-footed shot towards the near post.

The ball also rolled swiftly without being able to reach goalkeeper Danijel Subasic.
