Türkgücü – 1: 1 in the floodlights – sport

Türkgücü Munich saved a point in its first floodlit match in the Olympic Stadium against third division leaders 1. FC Saarbrücken: The duel between two strong promoters on Tuesday evening ended 1: 1 (1: 0). Alexander Schmidt’s team, which still has two catch-up games to play, was able to keep the gap on the table leaders at seven points.

The hosts only dominated in the first ten minutes. But that was enough to take the lead: Mounir Bouziane, who only came to Türkgücü in October, scored on his debut after a presentation by Sercan Sararer (8th). The Frenchman’s substitution seconds before the half-time whistle was strange: Bouziane was obviously surprised by this tactical measure. After the 1-0 win, Türkgücü was rarely dangerous. The guests dominated the longer they played, before the break Sebastian Jacob had the best opportunity to equalize with a shot from the post (37th). Saarbrücken, however, needed up to the 61st minute to equalize through Markus Mendler.

It was only in the closing stages that Türkgücü reappeared in front of the opposing goal: Petar Sliskovic put a lob next to the goal (69th), central defender Aaron Berzel volleyed the ball against the crossbar after a free kick (81st). cal
