Tom Brady becomes … Tom Brady

football/nfl/story">

After being humiliated 38-3 by the New Orleans Saints last week, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned to victory on Sunday as they beat the Carolina Panthers 46-23 at Bank of America Stadium.

The 43-year-old quarterback has had a strong game. He completed 28 of his 39 attempted passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns. The veteran also scored a middle finger with his legs.

However, it was not Brady who succeeded in the game for the Buccaneers (7-3), but rather Ronald Jones II.

In the third quarter, the running back ran 98 yards for a touchdown. This is the longest achievement in the history of the “Bucs”. Jones II also became the fourth NFL player in life to register a major of 98 yards or more. He therefore joined Derrick Henry, Tony Dorsett and Ahman Green in a very select club.

The Tampa Bay running back ended his day on the job with 192 yards on 23 carries.

On the side of the Panthers (3-7), the meeting had started well, they who had found the end zone twice in the first engagement. They weren’t able to keep up, however.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had 75 percent of his throws for 136 yards and two touchdowns, as well as one interception. He also crossed the goal line with the ball in hand.

The Carolina team had to make do without the excellent running back Christian McCaffrey, who has a shoulder injury. His replacement, Mike Davis, only had 32 yards on seven carries.

Two in a row for the Giants

At MetLife Stadium, the New York Giants defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 27-17 for a second straight win for the first time in 2020.

It is also a first for the formation of the Big Apple since September 29, 2019.

In the clash against their rivals in the Eastern Section of the National Association, the Giants (3-7) were propelled by running back Wayne Gallman. The latter found the paid zone twice.

Quarterback Daniel Jones wasn’t a bad guy, passing 75 percent of his passes for 244 yards.

Despite this setback, the Eagles (3-5-1) are still installed in the first rung of the weakest section of the NFL in 2020. The Giants are in turn second.

In short

At Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers struggled but have a way to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20. Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling was dominant for the winners. He had four catches for 149 yards and a major.

At FirstEnergy Stadium, the Cleveland Browns won a low-scoring game against the Houston Texans. A nine-yard run for a touchdown from Nick Chubb gave his team a 10-7 win.

At Ford Field, the Detroit Lions withstood a comeback from the Washington football team and kicker Matt Prater netted a 59-yard field goal in the dying seconds of the game, which gave his club the ‘take 30 to 27.
