The Match: victory of Charles Barkley and Phil Mickelson over Peyton Manning and Stephen Curry

Phil Mickelson was able to guide Charles Barkley as the pair had the best of their way on a golf course against the duo of Stephen Curry and Peyton Manning on Friday.

In the third edition of “The Match” in Arizona, Mickelson and Barkley won 4 & 3 in alternate mode at Stone Canyon Golf Club.

While Barkley’s erratic play had placed his side as underdog ahead of this day, Lefty’s advice allowed him to limit the damage and quickly establish himself on the pitch.

Mickelson and Barkley quickly nabbed a four-hole lead after seven holes, which gave the Basketball Hall of Fame member a humorous little arrow at his opponents. He looked at the camera, hinting that there would be a need to quickly find new content to broadcast as the encounter was soon to end.

Manning and Curry paid for Barkley’s arrogance by picking up the scoring on the next hole, but a birdie on the 15th hole closed the books.

The first edition of this confrontation took place in 2018 and pitted Mickelson against Tiger Woods.

The second round took place in May when this time Woods and Manning had the better of Mickelson and Tom Brady.
