The match, which many fans were looking forward to, did not only offer some stroking. Both Tyson and Jones Jr. went into full combat. None of them liked the eight-lap system in two minutes instead of three, but Jones was probably happy for it in the end. It was clear from Tyson that he had the strength to give away in the last seconds.

Iron Mike has not been in the ring for 15 years, his opponent ended his career only the year before last in February. Nevertheless, the Beast had the upper hand in conflict. Jones kept his hands down much in the match, but Tyson wasn’t upset, he was used to punching from below.

In the second round, Jones tried to tighten Tyson with his dances, but he didn’t give up. His head hit him in the clinch. Tyson continued to be more active, his blows, especially on his abdomen and jacks, had to pinch Jones a lot. He aimed his blows more at the face.

Jones tried hard to tie himself, but the Beast didn’t slow down even in the clinch. She was much better at fitness. In the sixth round, however, he also began to run out of breath. In the last eighth round, Jones woke up and began returning Tyson and dancing around the ring, as he had done throughout his career. The match ended in the clinch again and even though Tyson would clearly win for points, the judges decided that the battle ended in a draw.
