Telekom Baskets offer online physical education classes

Because of the corona pandemic, exercise is often neglected. Telekom Baskets have therefore come up with a special concept for their fans.

The Bonn team Telekom Baskets will be giving physical education lessons on YouTube from November 17th at 6 p.m. Together with Deutsche Telekom, they have launched a digital sports program that schoolchildren and anyone else interested can take part in from home during the corona pandemic.

The live sports units each last half an hour and are designed by coaches and players. At the start, Baskets assistant coach Chris O’Shea, power forward Gabriel De Oliveira and National Center Leon Kratzer stand in front of the camera and explain the exercises to the participants. No other aids are necessary than those that are available in every apartment. In addition, questions can be put to the online trainers at any time via the chat.

For the first unit, participants only need one T-Shirt or a towel, a small ball or five pairs of socks and a basket or trash can. On the The team’s YouTube channel the sports lessons will still be available after the live broadcast.
