After weeks of trash-talking leading up to the event, the duel on the golf greens between Stephen Curry and Charles Barkley has finally taken place. And the result is not what everyone expected.
The NBA planet finally knows when it will be able to find Stephen Curry and the Warriors on the floors. The NBA unveiled the preseason game dates for each franchise this Friday evening, and the calendar shows the name of Golden State on 3 occasions. The Dubs’ first meeting will take place against Denver on December 12, before two games against the Kings.
While waiting to find a semblance of competition, it is on the greens that the star leader of the team carried out his preparation. The Chef, paired with US football legend Peyton Manning, found himself opposed to the duo Phil Mickelson – Charles Barkley. He did not fail to send a 1st spade in the old NBA glory over a month ago.
Since then, the exchanges between the two men had multiplied, Curry not hesitating to openly making fun of his elder’s swing technique. It is indeed Barkley who, to everyone’s surprise, released his best game at the crucial moment, and delivered a very solid game overall, even pushing his partner to be amazed. The legendary interior had obviously worked intensely in recent weeks, even allowing itself a few provocations … golf style.

Curry, for his part, encountered a little more difficulty on the course, but nevertheless delighted observers with some of his shots. With his back to the wall on one of the last holes, the double MVP for example emerged brilliantly from the bunker in which he was stuck with a majestic approach to the flag.
