Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs was arrested by the police. The manager of the Wales national team is suspected of committing violence against a woman who is also his girlfriend.
Based on a summary of reports from a number of British media, on Sunday (1/11/2020) evening local time, the police were called to a property in the Worsley area, Manchester.
There the police met a woman who was suspected of being a victim of violence. He was identified as being in his 30s and suffered minor injuries. A man 46 years later was also arrested by the police on suspicion of committing acts of violence against the woman.
In the process the man, as reported Metro and Independent, was released by the police on bail. He was also seen climbing into a black Mercedes after leaving the Pendleton police station, Monday (2/11) evening local time.
The man was identified as Ryan Giggs. Meanwhile, the woman who suffered minor injuries when she was met by the police was Ryan Giggs’ own lover, Kate Greville.
Ryan Giggs and Kate Greville themselves are known to have started knitting their romance since 2018. It happened a few months after Ryan’s divorce from Stacey Cooke.
Ryan and Stacey married in 2007 and then divorced in 2017. Ryan-Stacey’s own marriage was colored by the romance scandal between Ryan Giggs and Natasha Lever, who in fact is his own brother-in-law, aka the wife of his younger sibling.
The legal problems that befell Ryan Giggs at this time also have an impact on the postponement of the announcement of the Wales national team squad for matches in November.
