Quartararo ninth in free practice – Fil Info – Moto

The Australian Jack Miller dominated the first day of free practice of the MotoGP European Grand Prix on Friday at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia (Spain), the first two of the championship, the Spaniard Joan Mir and the French Fabio Quartararo entering in the top ten. Just like in the morning on a wet track, Miller (Ducati-Pramac) dominated the debates, setting his best time of 1 min 32 seconds 528 / 1000th in the afternoon on a dry track, like all his rivals. He is ahead of the unexpected Spaniard Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) and Franco Morbidelli, Quartararo’s Italian teammate at Yamaha-SRT. The Frenchman is 9th and his Spanish rival in the championship 10th, both around 0.8 seconds behind Miller. The two drivers are currently separated by 14 points in the provisional standings while there are three rounds to go.
