VALENCIA – Focus Pol Espargaroalready split in the rest of the season MotoGP 2020. The Spaniard began to shift focus to Repsol Honda after not renewing his contract with KTM Red Bullfor the 2021 season.

Pol is confident that he will succeed with the wing symbol team in MotoGP 2021, and is confident because there is Marc Marquez who is ready to help him adapt. Pol received a two-year contract from Honda. (Also read: Drivers’ Standings After MotoGP Valencia 20202, Sunday (11/15/2020): Mir Champion!).

The 29-year-old racer replaced Marquez’s younger brother, Alex Marquez which will be assigned to Honda’s satellite team, LCR Honda, next season. Alex will partner Takaaki Nakagami for the next two years.

Alex was eliminated from his current position because he was slow to adapt to the Honda RC213V motorbike. Alex was only able to unleash the maximum potential of the RC213V, as did his brother, ahead of the end of the 2020 MotoGP. It is hoped that Pol will not take long to adapt, like Alex. Pol was recruited by the factory team bearing the wing because of his ability to ride a KTM motorbike, the RC16, which has similar characteristics to the RC213V.

Pol is ready to tame Honda’s iron horse. The racer with the Spanish passport knows it’s not easy to do it, because the riders are great, like Jorge Lorenzo, failed. However, Pol remained confident.

“You can go to Honda with fear or you can go to Honda with ambition. I can’t wait to learn from the best (Marquez), understand what Marc (Marquez) is doing, see if the bike is as difficult as they say, “said Pol, adapted from Tutto Motori Web, Monday (16/11/2020).

“Seeing how many riders fail to go fast on that bike is a challenge. However, I will do it slowly. If there is something I’ve learned up to now, it’s work and patience, ”he said.

Even though he has focused on Honda, Pol still has responsibilities with KTM. After finishing third at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, he must perform optimally in the final race of the season, the MotoGP of Portugal 2020. The 14th series of the 2020 season will take place at the Portimao Circuit, Sunday, November 22.

If you are able to achieve good results, it will be Pol’s most beautiful farewell gift for KTM. The 29-year-old racer left KTM with his head held high.
