OFAHENGAUE finds a new home
Broncos striker Joe Ofahengue has helped regulate his future play The AustralianThe coverage of the 25-year-old almost signed the Wests Tigers.

Ofahengaue, who has had a disappointing season with Brisbane, is believed to have agreed to a multi-year deal with the Tigers that could be announced as early as Thursday afternoon.
The ex-Maroons striker has two years left on his Broncos contract. The Australian According to reports, the Broncos will pay part of Ofahengaue’s salary for 2021 and possibly 2022 as well.
The dragons were also in discussion but reportedly couldn’t agree on how much Ofahengaue’s salary they would pay.
The signing of Ofahengaue should allow the Tigers to release Josh Aloiai to sign a three-year deal with the Sea Eagles.
The Tigers originally wanted to stand firmly on Aloiai, but with a secure replacement it won’t be necessary to keep a player who is dying to get out.

PEARCE DOESN’T GO EVERYWHERE
There has been a lot of talk about Newcastle captain Mitchell Pearce’s future, even with suggestions that he might land back at the Roosters where his career began.
However, coach Adam O’Brien has brought any uncertainty to bed, revealing that the club have made plans to extend Pearce’s contract beyond 2021.
The halfback, who won the Premier League, had a busy few months. He recently opened a Pilates studio in Newcastle with his partner and is getting married in December.
Because of this, the club were glad their chief playmaker was enjoying the off-season, but O’Brien says negotiations will begin very soon.
“These talks will begin in the next few weeks,” said O’Brien The big sports breakfast from Sky Sports Radio.
“Junior had a great couple of months, he started a new business and he also had a wedding planned. He’s a bit busy, but we’ve already taken steps to sit down and stretch Mitchell.
“He’s obviously our leader in the club and I really want him to hang out a lot longer.”
DRAGONS RELEASE DISGRUNTLED BOY GUN TO MANLY
The dragons have granted the unfortunate young Jason Saab a release to sign a three-year deal with the sea eagles.
“Jason Saab was published by Dragons. On to a three-year contract in Manly, ”tweeted Danny Weidler.
The 20-year-old has made four attempts in seven games for the Dragons since his debut in 2019, but only managed four games last season.
Saab sought a release after falling from grace and not wanting to commute to Wollongong for training every day and be separated from his family.
