National basketball team without stars from NBA and EuroLeague

Without stars, but with six potential debutants: national coach Henrik Rödl has initially nominated 18 players for the November games as part of the European Championship qualification.

NBA and EuroLeague players are not in the line-up, which is led by captain Robin Benzing (Basket Saragossa).

On November 27, the selection of the German Basketball Federation (DBB) will meet Montenegro in Pau, France, two days later it will be against host France (times open).

Rödl’s team is already qualified as co-host for the EM 2022, but uses the duels in the qualification to test.

Six players hope to make their debut in the national team

Rödl will reduce his roster by five players on November 19th.

Justus Hollatz (Hamburg Towers), Bjarne Kraushaar (Gießen 46ers), Lukas Meisner (Basketball Löwen Braunschweig), Kenneth Ogbe (Brose Bamberg), Len Adam Schoormann (Frankfurt Skyliners) and Filip Stanic (Niners Chemnitz) are hoping for the first international match.
