Morena Silva seeks a place in the National Table Tennis Team

After a prolonged hiatus forced by the pandemic, Morena Silva, 11, has just been summoned to the national preselection of women’s table tennis for minors.

November 7 Morena -a student from School No. 11 in Cañuelas- will begin with face-to-face training at the Gym C of the Center for High Performance Sports (CeNARD) with the required sanitary measures.

Must be presented every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., according to a statement that his family received from the National Team of this sport.

Together with Morena they were summoned Agustina Nakankare (13), Brisa Takahashi (12), Catalina Basso (10), Alma Guadalupe Marcial (13), Mariam Shahmuradyan (12), Lucia Rodriguez Salem (12), Justina Mayumi Aguilar Ikeda (12 and Emma Suyama (11).

The last activity of this young promise from Cañuelas was the selective of Carlos Paz (Cordoba), overlooking the South American Table Tennis Tournament scheduled for May 12 in Salta, finally suspended due to the pandemic. A few weeks ago he resumed training via Zoom and on Saturday he will make contact with the real competition in the future talents program of the National Federation.
