Los Angele Lakers, Clippers and Rockets arguably interested in Glenn Robinson III

Glenn Robinson III apparently attracts a lot of interest from several contenders for the title. The winger, who was last active for the Philadelphia 76ers, is said to be on the list as a reinforcement in the Free Agency with the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers.

This is what Michael Scotto reports from HoopsHype. In addition, the Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz are said to have their eyes on the 26-year-old, who is probably one of the best remaining grand pianos on the market.

Robinson III brings additional depth as a 3-and-D specialist, before he was traded to the Sixers last season, he set career highs in the jersey of the Golden State Warriors. In 48 games as a starter for the Dubs, he scored 12.3 points and grabbed 4.7 rebounds with a 48.1 percent field throw rate and 40 percent from a distance.

In Philadelphia, his playing time was reduced from 31.6 minutes per game in Golden State to 19.3 minutes. His average point yield fell accordingly and the three-pointers also fell slightly worse in a relatively small sample of 14 games (33.3 percent).

The Lakers will probably only be able to offer Robinson III the veteran minimum (2 million dollars), the Clippers still have the Bi-Annual Exception (3.6 million dollars) up their sleeves. He will probably not be able to expect much more from the remaining interested parties in the negotiations.
