In search of a playmaker, the Knicks saw Fred VanVleet extend to the Raptors, then DJ Augustin to the Bucks, and ultimately, they decided to offer Elfrid Payton a new contract.
Released a few hours before his second year of $ 8 million contract, Elfrid Payton finally stayed for a season at $ 5 million.
This is a sign that the club will not find better in the market, and Tom Thibodeau will have to deal with the same leaders as last year, and Elfrid Payton starts with a head start on Frank Ntilikina and Dennis Smith Jr.
