The 33-year-old Djokovic took over the trophy for the world number one in the O2 hall in London last week before the start of the Champions Tournament. Before that, he ended the season on the tennis throne in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2018.
Of the Czech tennis players, only Jiří Veselý, who owns 68th place, will finish the season in the top 100 in the world rankings. Twenty-year-old Tomáš Macháč became the new Czech two, moving to 193rd place and improving his maximum again. Lukáš Rosol is four places behind him.

As the world number one in doubles, Colombian Robert Farah said goodbye to the season ahead of compatriot Juan Sebastian Cabal. Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektič moved into the elite ten after their premiere triumph at the Champions Tournament, which ended their first season together.
