Dalin grapples on Rettant, Thomson still in slow motion – Info wire – Vendée Globe

At the 9:00 am Sunday score, Thomas Rettant was still leading the Vendée Globe. But the advance of the LinkedOut skipper, who slowed down strongly (9 knots) in the corridor that crosses the Saint Helena anticyclone, saw his lead over Charlie Dalin cut by two in four hours (from 38.5 to 20 miles). Apivia is moving much faster (20 knots) than its predecessor. Plagued by structural problems on Hugo Boss which forced him to ease off in an attempt to repair, Alex Thomson is now 3e 92 miles from the head. Jean Le Cam (Yes We Cam!) Follows in 4e position, 260 miles from Rouillard.
